What does caffeine actually do for under-eyes? It tightens the look of the skin temporarily, which is why a puffy morning face looks flatter and brighter after it goes on. There’s 1% in this formula — enough to feel, alongside green tea (epigallocatechin gallatyl glucoside) and a stable vitamin C derivative for the brightening side.

Will it get rid of my dark circles? Honest answer: it depends what’s causing them. If they’re dullness, tiredness and fluid, this brightens the look of the area noticeably. If they’re structural — hollowing, thin skin, pigment you inherited — no eye serum on any shelf is going to change that, and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something. This makes the area look brighter and fresher; it doesn’t rebuild it.

Can I wear it under makeup, or layer it with bakuchiol? Both. It’s water-light and absorbs fast, so concealer sits on top rather than pilling. At night it goes on before the Bakuchiol Booster Oil — thinnest texture first, oil last.

Is it safe around the eyes? Will it sting? It’s formulated for the eye area and it’s fragrance-free and alcohol-free, so it shouldn’t sting. Roll it on the orbital bone rather than right up against the lash line, and avoid direct contact with the eye itself — if it gets in, rinse with water.
